Once active range of movement has been completed you have the option to progress to assessment with combined range of movement. This assessment technique allows the stress on tissues in the neck to be increased or decreased.
On completion of the combined approach to assessment you will have further information regarding the pathology and you will also be able to determine how the neck responds in a variety of positions. This will help guide treatment selection and treatment positioning.
